Laurent Odic Joins Interwrite Learning™ as Education Development Manager Europe
Former National Project Manager for the French Ministry of Education will assist Interwrite Learning in development of relationships within European educational community
Columbia, MD - September 18, 2007, Interwrite Learning™, is proud to announce that Laurent Odic, 40 years old, has joined the company as the Education Development Manager Europe. Interwrite Learning™ is a premier global provider of interactive learning solutions, such as interactive whiteboards, wireless slates and personal voting systems, for primary, secondary and higher education markets.
Odic will take on the role of assisting Interwrite Learning™ in the development of relationships with the European educational community.
Odic was formerly responsible for the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) assessment (B2i) for primary schools and for Educnet primary, a national education Web site. His most recent work included the PrimTICE project database of pedagogical scenarios indexed by the school inspectorates, which currently posts nearly 900 resources online.
“I am very enthusiastic to utilize the experience I gained during my missions and at the Ministry and to begin contributing to the development of new technologies in the various education systems throughout Europe,” said Odic. “Interwrite Learning’s tools are designed for the modern school of today. Odic started teaching at the primary school level in 1992 and then moved on to become a teacher trainer, specialized in ICT. He trained teachers to use new technologies from 1999 to 2001, when he decided to join the French Ministry of Education.
